Akamas Peninsula
The Akamas peninsula is an area of great natural beauty located on the western point of Cyprus in the Paphos district. The area takes up 230 square kilometers and is surrounded by 12 villages. The greatness that the area holds is being home to 530 different plants, 160 kind of birds, 20 kind of serpents, 12 mamals, 16 butterflies and also is the breeding ground for 2 species of turtles near extinsion in the mediterranean.
